I listen…

to the rustling of the leaves,

the whispering of the wind,

the soft falling of dust,

sparkling gold in the sunlight,

to the laughing of the stream, 

the swaying of the branches,

the song of the birds

echoing across the hills.

I hear your voice,

I feel your presence,

I know that I am loved.

To paint the sky
with wisps of white
upon the endless blue,

To sprinkle in 
some golden sunlight,
sparkling in the dew,

to let the paintbrush
dance with grace,
elegant strokes, but few,

to play with colours
bold and bright,
displaying what is true,

to see my life
a work of art, 
and paint each day anew.
