Drifted across the ocean,
found on a beach near me,
shaped and glazed with loving care,
enchanting for all to see,
feathers of turquiose and brown,
stones that sparkle and gleam,
crystal, purple and blue,
jewels found in a stream,
a gift from a friend
with a golden heart,
spirit combined
with lovely art.
On uphill paths, the strength I feel,
the beauty that I see,
we have such adventures
my walking stick and me.
