cloud my mind, remember.
I am held.
There must have been a storm
that rained above your house,
the winds made a mess
of your room.
Empty and spent,
now all hollowed out,
left cold and dark
like a tomb.
Small fragments of who
you once called yourself
are strewn all over
the floor.
And the things that you thought
you needed the most
blown out through
the wind-slammed door.
But there must have been a strength
that stood within that storm.
For you are still standing,
you're here!
And nothing can touch you or
rob you of you.
Not worry, nor guilt,
nor fear.
The you who remains,
stripped clean by the storm
from the rough outer shell
of your seed
is the beautiful soul
who, once clothed in rags
now, standing here naked
is freed.
Enter in
Through the gateway of peace
Leave the noise
And the worries behind.
Breathe deep
And relax
For now you are safe,
No judgement here you'll find.
Remember the truth
Of who you are,
Your beauty
Reflected, behold.
See Life unfettered,
It flows like a stream,
Your story
Is free to unfold.
Answer the call
That sings to your soul
Like birdsong
From above.
Go out
In your strength,
You're never alone
Connected to life-giving Love.
I am
a survivor, a fighter,
and I learned to be the driver.
I am
a dreamer, a creator,
and a master manifestor.
I can sense the
Life Force Energy
everywhere I go.
I embrace this
life of beauty,
living in Abundant Flow.
She knows
the flow and ebb of life,
the high of joy,
the low of strife.
Magic calls
to me today,
it whispers on the breeze.
It echoes through
the joyful birdsong,
whistles through the trees.
It sparkles in
the dappled sunlight,
flutters on the leaves.
It chuckles in
the flowing stream
that puts my mind at ease.
Melting into Water
floating like a breeze,
thoughts are lifted higher,
mind is put at ease.
Rocking with the current,
carried by the stream,
breathing in the magic,
living in the dream.
I tended to my garden.
I walked among the weeds.
I noticed how entangled
everything had grown.
I wanted to be angry,
to find someone to blame.
But I knew this messy garden
was only mine to own.
Strangling vines had taken over
light had been kept out,
thorny plants with shallow roots
had found their way within.
I had chosen to neglect
this once beautiful space.
And now this garden called to me.
But where would I begin?
The surface mess,
the shallow weeds
that hadn't been there long
I pulled out quick,
reminding them
that they did not belong.
But vines that grew around the trunks
of my favourite tree
seemed to strangle everything,
I felt they strangled me!
So I took a deep, long breath,
and got right back to work
to retrieve the life within
and set everything free.
Sleeves rolled up and boots pulled on,
I jumped into the mess.
I'd get dirty nonetheless,
with dirt beneath my nails.
And I learned that many things
that I had once been scared of
helped to feed my garden soil:
the spiders, worms and snails.
With dirt flying up and over me,
covered from head to toe,
from ev'ry root of ev'ry weed
that I now tossed aside,
I saw that I can be both things:
the garden and the gardener.
I unearthed this hidden gem,
this truth buried inside:
In among the tangles,
the thorns and the brambles
I found a deep red rose
who had planted herself there.
She had made her space,
grown in thick of darkness,
nourished by the rain,
and her own loving care.
Every garden has a treasure,
beauty grown within.
Sometimes it sits for many years
buried deep underground
until we dig and do the work
with dirt upon our hands.
The treasure that we seek
is just waiting to be found.
Pink on brown,
reflected in water,
going for a run,
or maybe just a stroll.
Rushed out
to meet the day,
then slowed down
to take it in.
Sunlight glitters
silver on the water,
waves crash loudly,
sunlight sparkles louder.
Boats in a line,
heading for an island,
adventure calls,
it's time to dive right in!
Don't worry about the noise,
the filth and the mud,
don't worry about the fear
that rises like a flood.
When you feel lost,
no light to be found,
remember the seeds
deep down underground.
Small seeds of kindness
are sown in the fall.
before winter's shadow
descends on us all.
For seeds thrive in darkness,
they stand through the storm,
they grow through the process
of life taking form.
And this life is yours
to shape and to mold,
to fall and to rise,
to live and behold.
Keep walking your path,
and looking above.
Keep planting the seeds,
and sending out love.
I love how you
warm my back
on a cool day.
I love how you
chase the dark
shadows away.
You light up my path,
you are my star,
I love how you shine,
I love who you are.
I love how you
blow kisses,
light as a breeze.
I love how you
play with the
leaves in the trees.
You are my breath,
I love how you move me,
I love how you're wild,
I love how you soothe me.
I love how you
dance in raindrops
and streams.
I love how I
hear you at night
through my dreams.
You are my lifeblood,
you flow and refresh me,
with light you bring rainbows
and hope that restores me.
I love you,
Sun, Wind and Rain.
I hear you, ancestors.
Free your life's breath!
Feel the spirit of dancing feet
bare on Mother Earth.
Heads flung back, hearts beat,
hear the drum's sound,
arms raised to the sky,
feet pulse on the ground.
Shadows dance in twilight,
voices carried on the wind,
no longer bound by fear,
spirits free to ascend.
Before the sun is up
and the clouds are hanging low,
get up and go!
Before you feel fresh and clean,
still aching from head to toe,
get up and go!
Before you've decided what to do,
what this day brings, you do not know,
get up and go!
Get up and go and
the sun will rise to meet you!
Get up and go and
your body with stretch and wake up!
Get up and go and
your mind will expand and thank you!
Get up and go,
this day is meant to be lived!
Whenever I see you,
I breathe deep and sigh,
I smile and I kiss
my worries good bye.
I love how you contrast
the green of the trees,
the bright coloured flowers,
the sweet buzzing bees.
You offer me space,
the feeling I’m free,
the freedom to breathe,
to smile and just be,
happy at the start of day
and in the middle, too.
And when the day is closing,
you fade to a dark blue.
Thank you for the gift of dreaming,
both by day and night,
reminding me that
everything will be alright.
The bravest thing
you can do
is to
find yourself,
love yourself,
heal yourself.
Then you will unlock
such ecstasy and power
as you have never
experienced before.
I like to wave my hair
in the wind, she said.
'Me, too', I replied.
I like to drink deeply
from the stream, she said.
'Me, too', I replied.
I like to reflect the sun
in sparkling raindrops, she said.
'Me, too', I replied.
I have stood many moons,
unnoticed, she said.
'Me, too', I replied.
'We are not so different,
You
and I', I replied.
'We bare our souls on the wind,
beauty waving softly on the breeze
for all to see.
But only some will notice,
the lucky few,
me and you.'
I see you, she said.
I feel your gentle
touch on my leaves,
I sense your heart
as you whisper
words of love on the wind.
'And I see you', I replied,
'strong roots drawing water in your veins,
force of life beating within you, pulsing between us.'
Out
of the sea
she
came to me
birthed
from the same
surging force that flows
through all living things,
carried
by the waves,
basking
in their rhythm,
feeling
it deep in her veins,
then
rising up and
striding
through the splashing surf,
a crown of sea beads on her head,
confidence
flashing
off
her radiant face,
diamonds
of sunlight
sparkling
in her hair.
She breathes life into
everything she touches
with a soft whisper of endearance
and the gentle caress
of her hands
life, flourishing,
celebrated in every form,
every shape and colour,
everything and everyone,
joyously loved.
In a dream
I see a lagoon,
a cave and dark water
reflecting the moon.
I hear her call
across the sea:
'Come find me here
and set me free'.
In a boat
I row to the cave,
my inner child,
my soul to save.
Big waves threaten
to topple me,
but I stay calm
upon the sea.
Unafraid, for I am
not alone,
I find my way through
an arch of stone.
Through the dark water
slowly I row,
bright fish surround me
and jelly fish glow.
In the light of the moon
tall trees surround,
waves splosh gently
with barely a sound.
Across the lagoon
I hear her calls
echoing off
the great stone walls:
'Here you have found me,
here we are free.
In this place we can breathe
and simply be.
No ground we will touch
for this place is pure.
All that live here
are safe and secure.'
I breathe in deep,
so glad to be home,
a place where my soul
can freely roam.
I hold her close.
'You're safe now', I say,
'safe to dream,
to rest and to play.'
We stay awhile and bask
in the glow
of the moon's reflection
and the jellyfish show.
But then I tell her,
'It is time to go.
For there is something
that I know:
This place is our home,
but we can't hide away.
We must go out
to the light of day.'
Her hands graze the water,
she lets out a cry,
then she takes a deep breath
and releases a sigh.
'Ok', she replies,
'but promise me this:
you'll remember where home is.'
And she blows a kiss.
I catch the kiss and we
gather our strength.
Jelly fish guide as
we row out the length.
The sunrise invites,
it shows us the way
through the stone arch
to face the new day.
She sees the magic
in ev'ryday things,
she plays, she dances,
she whistles and sings.
She looks for the beauty,
she brings out the best,
she challenges fear,
puts her mind to the test.
She knows the darkness
and wears her scars proud,
determined to live her life
laughing out loud.
No more holding back,
no more living in fear,
no shame in falling
or shedding a tear.
Fully embracing
her true inner child,
born to be loved,
to be free, to be wild.
