A Bright Future

 

 

Standing tall,
roots in the ground,

feeling strong,

safe to look around,

To breathe in deep

the cool, forest air,

to feel the wind, 

the breeze through my hair,

from where I am home,

free to be me,

my eyes look ahead,

a bright future I see.
