Enough

I do not need to grasp
what's happening.
I do not need to know
the future.
I do not even need to
understand the past.

All of this gives
a false sense of peace
and control
and leads to pride.

It is enough, in humility
to simply know
that I am loved
to surrender my past, present and future
to Him
and to trust
that He is holding me.
