Rhythm & Dance

 

To a world
spinning out of control,
I open my arms,
toss my head back
and surrender to
Life's beautiful flow.

 

When I could
be floored by
all of the stories I hear,
I choose to be grounded
to the Earth that I know,
to be held in her strength and her love.

 

When it seems that chaos
is the order of the day,
I will remember the
rhythms of the Earth
from death to new life
and embrace every season.

 

When a flood of bad news
drowns out the peace,
I will dance under waterfalls,
feel the beat of the Earth
pulse through my veins,
fresh water cleansing.

 

Earth is my home,
rhythm is my heartbeat,
love is my language.
The drums, the dance,
the passionate romance,
I move with intention.
