She Dances!

 In the darkness,
only starlight as her guide,

no one to watch her, 
no cause to shrink or hide.

Music in her ears,
no other human sound,

she spins, she jumps, she twirls,
her feet kissing the ground.

Her arms spread wide, her head flung back, 
her eyes cast high above,

 

she moves to her own rhythm,
her guiding flow is love.
